This is a reminder that the Christmas Fair takes place on Sunday 6th December at the school, starting at 2pm. There will be plenty of stalls selling local and seasonal items, refreshments will be available (provided by the Cubs and Scouts), the Fiddle Club will be playing carols and Santa will be in attendance.

Sunday marks the first ‘Sanday Sunday’ of the summer.  A Spring Fair is being held at the school, starting at 2pm. Locally made items, plants and produce will be on sale from the various stalls. The Sanday Singers grew out of an evening class on singing techniques. That class no longer exists, but on a few occasions the fiddle club has got together with a group of Sanday-based singers to perform larger works. The Club is a group of approximately thirty people (ages five to fifty-something), which meets every Monday afternoon to rehearse and perform fiddle music in a wide variety of styles, with the emphasis on continuing the tradition of folk music.
