Christmas Fair

This is a reminder that the Christmas Fair takes place on Sunday 6th December at the school, starting at 2pm. There will be plenty of stalls selling local and seasonal items, refreshments will be available (provided by the Cubs and Scouts), the Fiddle Club will be playing carols and Santa will be in attendance.

North Isles Sports, 2002

Every third year, Sanday hosts the North Isles Sports, and in 2002 it was our turn. Preparations began well in advance, with planning sessions involving representatives of the competing islands and Orkney Islands Council, and with a door-to-door collection to raise funds to lay on the free lunch and tea for all athletes and spectators. Trowie Festival

The Sanday Tourism Association has organised a Trowie Festival, which was launched at the Sanday Sunday May Fair and Farmers’ Market on May 4th.
