Attractions
Bill McArthur Art Studio
Sanday artist Bill McArthur’s seascape oil paintings depict the interaction between sea, sand and wind around his home island in Orkney, and around other Scottish islands.
You can view original seascape oil paintings by the artist, including a gallery of those currently available for sale by visiting www.seascape-art-orkney.co.uk
Sanday Golf Course
Sanday's golfers believe club fees are the lowest in the kingdom. For just £5 a day you can enjoy the island's charming 9-hole course (2,600 yards, par 35). Summer competitions are on Tuesday evenings, and visitors are welcome – an assortment of clubs can be made available at short notice. If you prefer to play by yourself, you'll find a card and can pay your fee through the honesty-box attached to the Clubhouse.
