Sanday has three thriving general stores, two of which also sell petrol and one whcih also has Diesel
In the village of Kettletoft is The Butcher’s Shop with a branch of RBS (open on Tuesdays only) next to it. Lady Village is where you’ll find Roadside Shop, and Corse’s Shop in the Broughtown area completes the island complement of grocery shops.

Post Offices, with limited opening hours, may be found in Kettletoft (in the Belsair building) and in Lady Village. (map)
Crafts and Stationery
The Post Office in Lady sells a small range of souvenirs, postcards, greetings cards and stationery items.
Further souvenirs, local produce, and craft items may be found at the Ayre’s Rock Craft Shop.
Banks
The Royal Bank of Scotland has an outlet in Kettletoft – open each Tuesday, dependent on Loganair flights. Hrs: 10:30 – 12:30 and 13:30 – 14:30.
The Bank of Scotland offers a service from the Kettletoft Hotel on the second Thursday of each month. Hrs: 10.15 -12noon and 13:00 – 14.30pm
