The island has a monthly newsletter, produced at the School. The Sanday Sound is full of useful local information, including events, notices, and advertisements. One delightful feature of the publication is the regular News from School Pupils.
The Sanday Sound includes a useful loose sheet of “What’s On” items and is also used as a mechanism for distributing a variety of flyer information.
All households on Sanday may obtain a regular free copy by contacting Irene Brown at the School and indicating to which of the three collection points (Kettletoft Stores, Corses Shop or Roadside Shop) it should be delivered.
