Dominique Cameron lives on Sanday. She works in her studio at the North End of the island where she paints the landscape of Orkney. She is particularly interested in the notion of ‘place’ and paints those places she knows intimately, returning again and again before making work about her relationship and experience of that landscape.
House on the Hill
Since graduating in 1992, Dominique has led many community based arts projects throughout Scotland, in painting, photography and most recently animation here, in Orkney, as well as exhibiting her own work.
Dominique Cameron has her studio at home at Sandquoy, where she welcomes visitors by appointment.
