Many of Sanday’s residents are of course engaged in Agricultural activities, and some others offer services to residents and/or visitors. These are visible employments. You might be surprised though at the range and diversity of employment on the island, often supported by Internet connectivity. A number of Sanday’s residents work from home in the IT sector, for instance. We also have a number of artists working here on the island, and it is possible at times to visit them at work in their studios.
